The wash house was very clean and tidy, and it was a quiet night, save for some highway noise. Regardless, we slept soundly.

The positives: friendly hosts, well maintained washrooms and showers and some friendly locals.

We'll stay here again should the wind ever blow us through Williams Lake again, and we'll let our friends and family know about you guys :)

If you would like a tenting vacation to experience working class hell and desperation, stay here. I came on holiday to get away from that ironically.

Their rates are cheap. But like your father’s sister’s boyfriend’s mistress said; when you pay for a $2 lap dance, don’t expect a happy ending.

The site itself is small but quiet (there can be some hwy noise but for the most part it's quiet). There is a nice clean shower house/laundry facility with a payphone and sitting room on site. Across the street is a convenience store/liquore store. Full hookups and great ppl.

Sounds like a strip club, but an even bigger waste of money.

This is a great spot just before Williams Lake (coming from Prince George) - the owners are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We rolled in around 10pm local time last night and they got us a spot right away and even took the time to show us the wash house so that we could wash up after a long day on the road despite the late hour, which was very much appreciated!

Wild wood evokes visions of deep lush forest, tall redwood pines and foraging bears. In reality all you get is cold hard highway, a view of a liquor store and a mostly permanent trailer population.

Watch trailer park boys and chuckle from the comfort of your RV/Tent… Somewhere else.

Very homey. Run by a lovely couple. It has beautiful bathrooms and a place to relax. WiFi could be better but who goes camping for wifi? Was happy we had dogs and gave them each a free treat

Friendly hosts and great facilities. The bathrooms and showers are kept clean. The campsite sits right beside the highway so especially if you're camping, take earplugs.

The caretakers are friendly and very helpful people. We have left our RV for the weekend and to go on holidays with no worries knowing that everything will be well looked after.

My husband has been working in the area and this little RV site has been perfect for him.

The negatives: being directed roadside in your tent. The residents that warn you of their loud exhausts for their early shift. The trucks that vibrate your teeth as they roar past constantly throughout the whole night.

The rate was very reasonable, especially with what others in the area are charging and the rate in some of the provincial and regional parks.
